Iyuzeld Slupt-nru (/slupt/ /nru/ [alone] [state (province; country)]) is a temperate Town located in the Ftuzmïlärtä Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Iyuzeld Slupt-nru is derived from the Gnollish language, as Iyuzeld Slupt-nru was founded by Mary vyim Glə˞ʤine, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru has a yearly average temperature of 10°C (50°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cold 5°C (41°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 16°C (60°F). Iyuzeld Slupt-nru receives an average of 254 cm/y (99 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Iyuzeld Slupt-nru covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 3764 m (12349 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru was founded durring the late 16th century in winter of the year 1463, by Mary vyim Glə˞ʤine. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Mary vyim Glə˞ʤine.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Slupt-nru is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive gravel streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Unfortuantly, these would-be-castle fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

A look around Iyuzeld Slupt-nru has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Iyuzeld Slupt-nru long.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru has a first rate hospital which caters to anyone in need of long term medical care.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Cultural Notes

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used which employed abundant symbolic geometry, using pure forms such as the circle and square, and plans are based on often symmetrical layouts featuring rectangular courtyards and halls. These structures were is decorated with carved stone or stucco reliefs and made use of colorful stone mosaics..

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Iyuzeld Slupt-nru.

The Bonewrought Willow near Iyuzeld Slupt-nru are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves line dance to channel Truename Magic energies of tier 2 via chanting.

Iyuzeld Slupt-nru is remarkably well-fortified for a site of its size and role. Tall, stout walls, strong points inside the community, concentric defenses, a strategic terrain location, or a large body of standing troops might be present. Some threat is thought to exist that makes maintaining this fortification worthwhile, though it may come at a dear cost to the locals. In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Iyuzeld Slupt-nru was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Iyuzeld Slupt-nru lost 133 people, 134 livestock, and 43 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 114, when members of Iyuzeld Slupt-nru's militia enacted an operation to train a group of civilians for a special clandestine operation. The operation was complicated by a key segment of the operation that deepened entirely on a stealth mission going perfectly. The conflict ended with needing to break through the enemy's lines, which ended in victory for Iyuzeld Slupt-nru's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Iyuzeld Slupt-nru's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
